About The Committee
Wentbridge Parish Committee is comprised of a group of residents. Funded by a precept collected through the local authority the aim of the committee is to act on behalf of the village residents to maintain and improve all aspects of village life.
The Committee was formed in 2022 when Wentbridge gained independent status from nearby Darrington.
Due to the relatively small size of the village the Committee exists in place of a traditional Parish Council. It is operated using the same principles as a Parish Council and conducts itself as such. It is regulated and audited and its activities are available to view on this website.
The committee is open to anyone who wishes to attend and take part and all are welcome.
